I don't know since I don't have any Sylvania CFLs, but I suppose that they are the same quality as the GE, Noma, Globe, Feit electric (...) ones. There is a risk that the safety fuse in the ballast won't work and make the plastic housing to melt, so be careful...

Unfortunately, almost all CFLs in the market are bad quality. If you search a while, you can be lucky...
