| Maybe well used, but that doesn't make it vintage
There is "vintage" GE LED streetlight too.

									| Well, I see stuff in general on eBay from the 2000s listed as "vintage". But to me 2000s is not vintage. Although, some people get tricked with things that look vintage but really are just made to resemble it. | |

									| You should research it well before you buy like anything else. There is a seller on Ebay that is selling 90's reproduction goose necks that NYC used and they are advertised as "vintage" andmuch more rabble about them. They are NOS HPS fixtures and they have clamp latches and plastic globes. TWO red flags.

Sometimes seller doesn't know about what they are selling, like we do. But like you say, to the buyer beware!!

									| Being from 2010 might barely make it vintage for LED streetlights being that they started showing up in 2009. (In my area anyway.) The Leotek might have earned the vintage moniker but not the GE as that one is from 2013. When did the first LED streetlights start popping up? I’ve seen them first in 2009 in Raleigh NC. BetaLEDs. I say Leotek vintage since it’s 9 years. Not yet there to 25 years. That’ll be in 2035. | |

LED brainwash? No, people uses them cuz they work well for them.

Leotek started making LED streetlights (in fact any streetlights) in 2007, my guess is that when the first ones started popping up. Now, the seller I noticed didn't mention LED in the listing. So I think they really have no idea what they are selling here, since they think it needs a bulb. Their other items are all electronics, except for a GE LED streetlight.

Saw my first one in 2008...about as useful as a candle in the wind when it comes to lumen production ...it was extremely blue and dim...I looked at it and laughed...never thought that they would ever replace HID. | |
