Vintage Video Game Soundtracks « on: November 27, 2019, 08:19:06 AM » Author: CEB1993
Anyone interested in music heard in vintage video games from the Super Nintendo, Nintendo GameCube, etc.?  I’m instantly reminded of my childhood when I hear music from my favorite games. Seems like many of the old Nintendo games had amazing soundtracks and completed the whole experience.

My favorite SNES Games:

Super Mario World
Donkey Kong Country
Mario is Missing

My favorite GameCube Games:

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Waverace Bluestorm
Need for Speed

A few clips of my favorite video game music:

Whenever I was playing video games I always used to turn the music off, as it was invariably a synthesised rendition of music that I had heard elsewhere and it ruined it for me.   >:(

That’s so cool!  I never got into the Zelda games too much, but I realize they are some of the finest games made with amazing storylines, graphics, and of course music. Thanks for sharing this link!  Sometimes I fantasize about my life having background video game music. It would certainly make things more interesting  ;D

Music is such an amazing way to time travel and reminisce about simpler times  :)

This track is from the Dublin, Ireland stage in the Mario is Missing PC game. If I could choose background music for myself, this would be it. Kind of laid back and yet dignified too  :) Has the vintage video game charm.
