Of all the lamps fixtures and lighting related things you own what is you most favorite. Whats your favorite Fixture Lamp PC or any other gear? You can have a couple in each but not too many!

Mine are as follows!
Fixture- Line Materials Gumball, Thanks to Jace
Lamp- 1940's AH5 Merc & Early 1950's BH1 Med press Merc
PC- NOS Ray-O-Cell

Geoff, would you consider just the gumball itself a fixture or just a refractor?

My favorite


Streetlight- OV-14B
Indoor fixture- the Halfpiper -thanks to frog
Lamp- (need it give it some thought)
PC- a nice old GE PC!!!

Not the gumball as a fixture but seeing that it is on a LM NEMA I consider the whole assembly.

HID lamp: Hard to say, but I'd say the BTH Mazda 400w medium pressure merc and the 50s Westinghouse E-H1s

Geoff actually kinda wanted you to pick one fixture, one lamp and one photocell to pick as a favorite, plus you dont have that many streetlights, so you should pick one....so can you tell is one fixture, one photocell and one lamp you like in your colleciton?

Mine is:

Fixture: Westinghouse NEMA Head 100w MV.
Lamp: Westinghouse Clear BT-25 100w MV.
PC: None as most of my PC are newish.

Why I like LEDs on top of other lighting tech?
LEDs = Upgrade 95% of the applications. (That is if you avoid eBay's LEDs).


LED brainwash? No, people uses them cuz they work well for them.

HID: My Canadian GE H125DX-42 mercury vapor lamp from Feb. '78

Fluorescent: My two GE F20T12/Ds from 1945

Streetlight: Only have one, my Sylvania R37  ;D

In terms of lighting posessions, I would say my GEC Z6630 that I got a few day ago. It is very cute, and I refer to it as 'The Walnut'. Basically it is a small form factor version of the Z8430CM. (See my gallery)
