It can be lamps or fixtures.
I have my eyes on a GE M-250A that still lights the driveway to a now demolished home. It's 100w HPS and still comes on at night and has no issues whatsoever. It's the last rental HID streetlight closest to my neighborhood. They are also replacing the power lines with underground wiring which is also why I have my eyes on it.
Next is a GE post top fixture at my high school. It is HPS and it works. I'm not sure if it was retrofitted from MV or originally HPS. There's actually two, but the top of the other one has been gone ever since I've been going there. The electricians have been replacing some of the wall and canopy lights to LED. The thing is, I do know them quite well and they also gave me three of the old lights they replaced.
Last are four Westinghouse OV-25s. They are 250w MV with clear lamps and all still work. They are in a small strip mall. They are also the last ones in my city after two perfectly working 400w ones along with their nice old Union Metal pole got removed and were never replaced.

There are three MV Westy Viscounts I know of still in service and two OV-15s. As well as two American Electric 15-000s. I wouldn't say I have my eye on any of these to get, because Duke Energy wouldn't give them to me if I had asked, it's against their strict policy, and most likely I wouldn't actually see them being replaced.
In the town south of me I know of a couple abandoned 400W GE Powr/Brackets that were rentals. One is in a field near an old shed another is in a tiny little street of a couple houses. I watch once in a while to see if they got removed.
Finally at a former tree farm that's at the end of my street, there a Cooper RMA Nema that's come loose from the pole, hanging by wires. I've been watching to see if it falls, but so far it hasn't. I can't really just take it if it did since it's on private property though.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

Long live the HPS and SOX!

I have my eyes on all of the boatyard lights that I posted pictures of. There are about 10 1960s GE M-400s with coated mercury lamps, a current M-400 with 250W PSMH lamp, and some Westinghouse OV-25 Silverliners. I definitely have my eyes on the OV-25s the most, because they could be replaced anytime and those need to be saved!

I’ve always been interested in all kinds of lighting, mainly incandescent and HID, and especially all kinds of sodium lamps (HPS/LPS). I’ll tolerate LED but I’m not a fan of it. I’m not proud to say that my city has Devolved to LED.

We've got our eyes on the two 55W SOX lanterns on the side of a building close to us, that I have never seen lit in all the years I have been here. We need to go in and ask about getting them.

Got my eyes on a HPS flood. On a construction site where a new warehouse is going to be built. Has a base-up lamp and twist-lock photocell. Lamp looks good and was most likely shut off at the meter/breaker box at the bottom of the pole it's on (meter is still there).
Also a 1960s GE post top. Might be MV and also at one of those houses due to be torn down.

We're looking out for a 131W SOX-E lamp to come up on eBay, and at the other end of the spectrum we also want to get the little 10W lamp.

Line Material Unistyle 400w MV at a post office on a Pumco pole. Lights up every night.
Three GE M-400R2 400w MV on GE arms at a gas station. They are non-functional.
At my friend's house, there are two Regent 100w MV area lights. One has no lense or lamp and is a dayburner. The other has its refractor and has a Regent 100w lamp. They are very rarely used.

Tha SOX MADMANNN

A worn Cooper 100w security light that was spared during an LED changeout at the warehouse park I work in a bunch since a tenants derelict car is parked under it during the changeout (still is). I’ve been keeping it running by replacing the 12 year old dim lifeguard with a new one. It’s ballast is a little noisy until it warms up and the photocell’s age makes it start a bit earlier than it should. I’ll probably replace it with an LED myself at some point and take it home for retirement.

I have my eyes on a still installed and running SOX 55W projector which lights up a facade of a municipal administration building. The administration is informed about my needs and they will inform me once the lantern fails.
Another street lights I’m looking for are in Vevey, the city where Charles Chaplin lived used to be. They still have plenty of old fluorescent street lights.

Don't have my eyes on anything in particular.. But one thing I'd truly love to find is a couple of those 3' SLI/H lamps!

They are certainly beautiful lamps, I think there is a wholesaler in the UK that still has a few of the 200W ones, but I'm going to have to check that out. Otherwise it's just keeping your eyes on eBay, it took me years to get the 140W one.
