Here are some of the SOX lights that I'd sure like to rescue. They've been in service since, at least, 1977, possibly longer, and run on 120v. Based on their size, they probably use a high wattage lamp.

They look like either Philips or AEL SRPs.

Based on the picture link it certainly looks like the ones in my area could be Norelco. We're they part of Philips during the mid 70s? The biggest problem in saving them would probably be trying to get up a 30ft. pole! I don't have a bucket truck, but we'd all like one!  ::)  :lol:

Rental equipment places have boom-lifts? Interesting. What about scissor lifts, like on the attached - used to be the method of relamping prior to the MV era.
