Has anyone mistakenly thought that a F96T12 lamp runs at 96 watts? « on: October 23, 2020, 06:42:28 PM » Author: WorldwideHIDCollectorUSA
Has anyone mistakenly thought that fluorescent lamps named after their lengths confused their part number for the wattage:

For example, has anyone thought that F96T12 lamps were 96 watt fluorescent lamps, F84T12 as 84 watts, F72T12 as 72 watts, F60T12 as 60 watts, F48T12 as 48 watts, etc.

Yes,because European lamp marking says F40T12 in which 40 is Wattage and T12 is bulb size.
