Has anyone heard of a company called formed plastics?  I just recently found out about there company who specializes in replacement globes and refractors for older style streetlamps. Apparently if you check out their catalog online they sell a polycarbonate Westinghouse OV20 style refractors. I think anyone who is restoring streetlamps should check out their site. https://formedplastics.com/ is the web link. Click on the lighting store tab where you can find all their products and their pdf catalog showing more off what they have.

I wonder if they can make replacement refractors for foreign street lanterns such as Thorn Beta 5s?

Any plastic manufacturer can. The big cost is in the making of the mould, and then the 2nd big cost is in setting it up for production (so taking out some other mould from the injection machines, flushing, installing and fine adjustment of this mould, etc)

Many covers can be made to shape with just vacuum forming, this can be done at the home garage with not that much equipment. But they will come out without the Prismatics that are present in the original bowls

Well known, I love their Cobrahead refractors! They’re pretty expensive though.
