I have seen an old photo of OV-20s in Madrid, Spain which was taken in the 1960s. I have used the Google Maps Streetview to try to find remote ballast streetlights like OV-20s, Form 109s and Form 400s in the parts of Europe that have Streetview, but have only found a couple of OV-25s lighting a small parking lot in Milan, Italy. I read someone's reply in a foreign streetlights album that this person had seen many different Westinghouse streetlights in Italy which included OV-20s, but was not menntioned where. Does anybody know about any American remote ballast streetlights still in service in Europe or any place around the world where American streetlights are sold?

As far as I know, similar lanterns can be found in Canada, Mexico, Chile, and many other Latin American countries.
As far as I know, similar lanterns can be found in Canada,
Westinghouse MADE them in Canada for local consumption and I am 99% positive GE had production in Mexico since the 60's and also had CGE - GE Canada Latin America had a number of GE M400s during the HPS revolution running 100V bulbs as they are "European" 220Volts

Oddly enough, Mexico seems to have a mix of North American and European specification lamps for whatever reason. For example, the Philips SON-T PIA 70W high pressure sodium lamps and North American 70W S62 high pressure sodium lamps were both readily available in that country despite the fact that these two types of high pressure sodium lamps are intended for different electrical systems and not electrically interchangeable with each other despite being the same wattage.

weird as Mexico uses the same "2/3 phase" as it common in Canada which is WORSE then USA as far as running 230 "Euro" equipment as we have 120/208 as 3 phase is common and running 2 legs gives 208 due to phase shift (commercial power NOT household)

In Mexico, their common electrical system is a 127V/220V 3 phase system, but sometimes, you can even find 254V/440V and 277V/480V 3 phase systems over there as well as 240V systems there, but 127V/220V is used mostly for domestic applications while the rest are mostly used for commercial and industrial applications.

my experience with Mexico was at the south end of BAHA CALIFORNIA and the mains was 3 phase 120 per phase and 208 across 2 legs unless you bought an expensive matching transformer to convert 3 phase into split phase maybe "mainland" is different OR upgraded the same configuration as my house in New Westminster and the now closed roadway terminal in Burnaby I used to work for

Westinghouse, LM (CLM), GE (CGE) and the like setup local production back in the day in Canada so there are some Canadian produced versions of luminaires such as OV-10s, OV-20s, Ovalites, Form 400s that were all remote ballasted MV back in the day.
The OV-10 I own was a Canadian built model produced in Granby, QC. The same plant later produced Westinghouse's cobraheads and even produced products for Crouse Hinds briefly.
