Solar panels on PSE&G poles in NJ « on: May 11, 2025, 04:25:35 PM » Author: Multisubject
I know that these have onboard inverters that feed into secondary lines to mildly contribute to the electrical system. But I have some questions for anyone who knows.

1) Power:
What is the maximum wattage for each one of these panels?

2) Present day:
New poles are being installed by PSE&G near me, they have secondary lines on them (and plenty of pole space because they don't have communications lines on them), and they have access to full sun, but they aren't installing panels on them. Did they stop doing new installations?

3) Worth it?
Do these dinky little panels really make a difference? I know that there are a lot of them scattered over, but I would assume that their small size means that they don't make a huge contribution in terms of power.

Thanks!
