You know, I was told that most L-G members are introverted and shy, sometimes even on the autism spectrum, which is why I don’t get comments. I was actually told by a therapist that I have a rather intimidating presence on the outside while soft on the inside, which kinda keeps people from drawing to me, unless they know me and close to me. Plus I have so so social skills and charisma.

I think that's indeed the case, so am I. Working hard on it though! Progress is slow but it's happening and that's what matters! When done cautiously, opening up to the right people scratches that itch that even introverts have, I believe. Not that my goal is to become a pure extrovert social butterfly, but getting closer to a balance just feels right.

Oh and that last part is sad but it's a reality nonetheless. So many people base their opinions of others solely on looks. These people are not worth being around, trust me.

A room of introverts is quite the sight. Everyone wants to share with others, but no one does it, mostly out of fears of all sorts. So around here photos and posts get views, but many people shy away from commenting. It has to be respected, don't get me wrong. It just feels to me like a bit of a chicken-or-the-egg problem LOL.

Glad to see you came back @Silverliner
Pretty sure I myself have a sorta intimidating/unfriendly presence on the outside as well (and deff not that great of social skills).
Likely being some of the reasons I've had few friends throughout life.

----------------------------------------
As far as on the original subject, add me to the list of those who want do downsize their light hobby/collection.

Simple fact is I'm now old & worn out, and while I still love lights, I don't have the interest or ambition for it that I once did

I have tons of stuff (mostly Christmas lights) I will never use & would love to sell off just to get it out of the basement. Could really use the space its taking. Plus would be nice to see the stuff actually get used.

Its sad that eBay sucks as a place to sell things. Wish there was a site like what eBay used to be! There is just no good replacement that I've seen or know of.
I have no interest in Craigslist & the flighty people on it (do people even still use that site these days? Haven't even looked at it in years.)

ThunderStorms/Lightning/Tornados are meant to be hunted down & watched...not hidden from in the basement!
