Top entry HPS or MH street lanterns in the UK? « on: November 27, 2020, 05:43:29 AM » Author: WorldwideHIDCollectorUSA
I am curious if the UK has ever made any MH or HPS top entry street lanterns that would fit onto old concrete lamp posts originally designed for MV lanterns and later, SOX lanterns?
In addition, are LED top entry lanterns being made as well?

Outreach arms, (or brackets), are totally obsolete here now for residential street lighting, in favour of direct post top mounted lanterns.
The only ones with outreach arms are now on electricity poles, or the larger 8 to 10 metre columns.
There were never any dedicated top entry MH or HPS lanterns that I know of?

Maybe in certain high end town centres, but not for ever day street lighting?
