When I was looking at Johannesburg, South Africa with Google Earth for whatever reason, I saw this droopy streetlight falling off of its arm. This thing must be the ultimate glarebomb at night!

HID Fixtures should stay HID, but I think LED is fine too.

Passed by this crosswalk in Watson Lake, Yukon the other evening.  The overhead sign on the right had the standard gold HPS glow.  It must have been an older bulb, because I saw it cycle out.  The sign on the left had the ruby red glow of an LPS that had just switched on.

Nice finds!  I didn't pass by that area on my last trip through a few weeks ago.  Didn't notice any this trip, but some of those small towns in Saskatchewan were the some of the last holdouts for LPS fixtures that I saw in Canada.

The truck stop looks to be a GE Form 401 for 700/1000w MV While the other looks to be some form of 400w
