Most agencies in Louisiana are broke/corrupt. Could also be the interchange was slated for re-construction that didn’t happen. I’m surprised New Orleans itself was able to convert to LED when they did using Cooper, their traffic signal division is a whole other story.

Kind of amazing to see a freeway interchange still with MV clamshells.

SRP for life.

I've discovered a small installation of SRXs on the Creech Air Force Base in Nevada. See here. There are a bunch of shoeboxes adjacent to the SRXs which look like they could also be LPS. They were still there and working as of September 2025 when I drove by at night on my way down to Phoenix for college.

ITT Low Pressure Sodium NEMA

This one could double as lighting in movies as well as Street View finds. This facility was a real tractor dealer back in the 90s and was shown during the final chase in Twister (1996). The business is gone but the PowrBracket is still there.
