saving up to buy a tractor huh. I think that would be a great purchase! do you know how to work on engines?

Yes and no. I know a lot about how to repair them and I hope to learn more.

You are? That's neat! Do you have any idea why a old Briggs and Stratton 3.5 HP engine that I've got just stars and then stops again? I've checked the flywheel key.

probably dirt in the carburetor. if you know how to pull apart a carburetor then take it apart and clean it out. just be sure not to mess with any adjustment screws!

I am learning new things, and I found that there was no dirt in the Pulsa-Jet carburetor. I messed with the adjustment screw and found that a richer mixture fixed it. And I did learn how to clean a float carburetor, as I cleaned both of my brother's non running mower's carburetors and got them running. Just wondered, what engines do you have? And have you ever worked on a Pulsa-Jet carburetor?

fuel injection are mainly for cars and trucks. But carburetors are mainly for small engines now.
