Decorating with Halloween String Lights? « on: October 30, 2021, 10:19:02 PM » Author: LightUpMyLife
Do people even use black-sting Halloween lights to decorate for Halloween anymore? I used to see a fair number of houses in my neighborhood decorated for Halloween with (primarily) orange and purple lights, but now it's all been taken over by blow-ups and animatronic figures. Only just this past year did someone who moved into a house at the end of my street put purple string lights over their front porch this month.

I use them myself. This year I also used some green-wire sets too, in fall colors. (as a side note, black-wire sets do sometimes make their way into my Christmas display)

I do see other houses with strings of Halloween lights up occasionally. And yeah people like those inflatable things.
Considering the Halloween decorations aisles in stores were pretty much cleaned out before Halloween this year, people have to be decorating somewhere (though I don't notice much more than last)...
