These are apparently brand new in 2021. These bulbs are the old-school C7 and C5 lights but are filament LED bulbs. Fully dimmable and claim to be made in the USA. Has anybody purchased these yet or have any thoughts?

You mean C7 and C9 lol. These are pretty cool I'd actually consider using these over incandescent. They resemble incandescent very closely. The energy savings and ability to use more lamps on one run is great. So you don't have to use so many extension cords and power sources.

These new Tru-Tone C7s are really neat. As I’ve mentioned before, it’s truly impressive how much LEDs (especially in christmas lights) have come a long way. I may eventually consider getting a set but I’ve got other priorities to take care of first though.
