Considering the very low starting bid, I would imagine that these are a mess inside...no ballasts and full of rat stuff.

Also , since this seller has 0 feedback , I'd guess he/she has NO idea how to work eBay . Years ago , I bought a case of 400w MV lamps from another 0 feedback seller for $3.40 ! he didn't ship them and wouldn't respond to either me or eBay !

I agree, they probably don't know how bidding vs buy it now works on eBay.

Sometimes you might get a good deal on buying something from a new eBay seller. I bought some RAM for my computer a month ago from a new eBay user and it worked find and it was cheaper than everyone else. Oddly though they deleted their account a week after. It passed my barrage of tests so it looks to be legit.

RE the Detroit Crimefighters, Here's a Streetview of one. It's gone now though.

It took me a while and a lot of looking around before I spotted it too. The Holophanes on the wooden poles was a red herring. :P

Don't worry wide-lite 1000, it happens.
 :P
Detroit had a few weird refit jobs done to those old decorative black painted poles, with crimefighters, M-400s, and those pesky RSLs and 125s.

Well, it ended with only one bid at 99c. Whoever got these got them at a great price.

Maybe they'll become "eBay refurbished" and sell for hundreds...hopefully not.

@wide-lite 1000 - I don't mind some upcycled things but hopefully it'll be at least somewhat original.

@BT25 - Hmm maybe we'll see them for sale in a couple weeks for hundreds each.  ::)

Hopefully a collector got them though, I know there's a few that are active in the Detroit, MI area.
