Since the Christmas season is coming up pretty soon, I have been toying with the idea of having a very elaborate Christmas light display at my dream house.

The setup includes the following:

Christmas tree forest in the front yard with incandescent C9 strings of different color patterns on each tree in the forest. Some trees would use incandescent lamps, other trees would use LED retrofit lamps like the Wintergreen OptiCore lamps. Each tree would also have ornaments throughout the branches

Walkways lined with incandescent C9 strings fitted with stakes with some walkways having different color patterns. Some would use incandescent lamps and others would use LED retrofit lamps.

Roof and windows lined with incandescent C9 strings having different color patterns with some windows using incandescent lamps and others using LED retrofit lamps.

Inside the house would have multiple Christmas trees with LED retrofitted incandescent C9 strings.

My tastes may change over time depending on what I am in the mood for.

I don’t have one now 😬, years ago me and my neighbour across the street, Mick, tried to out do each other each year 🤣, he eventually beat me though with a full decorated tree on top of his porch! 🥳
Over the years though each one of my outside decorations failed and decent ones were no longer available where we use to get them from!
It came to a head last year when my giant Christmas candle with moving flame effect half went out, I took it all down in January this year and promptly disconnected the entire feeds going to them all!

The 3 remaining working ones we now have up inside the house, I don’t bother with anything outside anymore sadly 🙁
