| I wonder how they're going to implement this, I doubt legacy OSes such as Windows 8.1 and older will be patched on the OS side to have such a feature, and I'm pretty sure open source OSes such as Linux kernel will get patched or forked to remove this ID check verification.
Unfortunately it seems to go with the current trend of more and more online services requiring proof of ID to use their services...which also conveniently allows them to store your ID and make it vulnerable to security breaches from them or whatever 3rd party vendor they used for the ID verification...Discord being a good example ironically.
