If I recall LPS was used in Long Beach at the start of the 90s though I don't know if they were CalTrans installations but I remember them from a broucher from Philips around 1992.

I’d be curious to see that Philips broucher. There’s still some LPS fixtures scattered in the city, pretty much all abandoned.
