Saw an unusual lamp today, a halogen style capsule with a filament support bar, made from glass, at the upper end of the capsule, that has the filament wrapped around it. The filament then is in a line from the base to the top, aroung the glass bar sealed into the outer glass, either with epoxy or actually melted, then back to the base. I do not have a pic, was unable to get one, but it was definitely unusual. I probably will find out the price, and if cheap enough will buy one to photograph and post. I cannot think the light output is high, it would probably be a very warm white, so as not to melt the glass.
