Maintenancing your emergency lighting and exit signs « on: December 07, 2017, 04:32:40 PM » Author: lightinglover8902
If you have a emergency light, I'm going to tell you the simple steps, of troubleshooting and maintenancing your emergency lighting.

Step1: Make sure your emergency light is pluged in. Step2: Push the test button to see if the lights on your emergency light works with a battery. Step3: If lights don't light, check the bulbs, or if its the battery, check the battery by using a multimeter. If its the battery, disconnect power before servicing, and replace the battery. If its the unit itself (hence the AC light on the unit) you may want to replace the unit. Once thats done, check again to see if it works. That is how I check and troubleshoot my own emergency lighting. Hope this helps.
