URI FR48T12VHO "454" Blue VHO 115w lamps for sale « on: April 11, 2019, 11:45:46 PM » Author: BlueHalide
I have a partial case (8 lamps) of NOS 48" VHO's by URI/UVL in color "454" which is actually the wavelength the lamps emit, its an intense blue. I am not sure the application of these, I imagine large aquariums and the like. I have no use for them, and figured somebody on here would appreciate them more in their collection. They are very high quality, thick glass heavy tubes. Unlike other VHO lamps, these do not use the RDC endcaps, but rather the standard medium bi-pin of regular T12's, these lamps are also the same length as standard F40T12's and therefore can fit in any fixture. They'll just need an F48T12VHO ballast, which I only have one and am not selling it. lol

Also, I prefer not to attempt to ship these, the rate I got from FedEx was something like $97.00 for standard 5-day ground, and I think we all know what a risk shipping fluorescents is. Ide be glad to meet anywhere in Northern Illinois as I live in Sterling, but commute to Chicago all the time. Looking for $5 a tube or trade for uncommon HID's

They are for saltwater reef aquariums.

If I lived close I'd be totally interested in some of those just because they're cool.
(I no longer keep any saltwater fish)
