At least the bulb was EOL.
This guy also did the same thing to an EOL HPS lamp.

More now interested in Polish Street lighting, the country where I come from.
LED fixtures need to stop replacing fine-working streetlights. However, I except retrofits, only if it's done very well.
For today I live in England, so except me posting English fixtures as well.
All from me, 220v-240v

He used a HV transformer to explode the lamp. In that case, every lamp would explode, including fluorescent and LPS/SOX lamps.
