Today we have a guest appearance by a Lantern of the Day. :)

We had a courier deliver an Urbis Evolo 2

I've got to figure out a way of mounting this so that we can use it as a floor lamp. 8)

At least it can be mounted as a post-top rather than just side entry, which makes it a lot easier.

We're back on track with another lamp.

This time it's a wonderful MB/U one from the 1970s.

Here it is fully warmed up.  8)

Looking at what we've had recently lit as our 'Lamp of the Day' we realised that mercury was lagging behind.!  :o

Today we have rectified that, and here is our 1954 80W HPL lamp. 8)

We got an HPS reflector lamp today, unfortunately the arc tube was knocked a bit off centre, but it still works okay.

So here is today's offering for 'Lamp of the Day'  8)
