Today I found 2 old 1,000w MV coach style lights at a auto repair shop, saw a RAB LROAD, The 2 LROADs were probably the only 2 in Utility use in NH! What have you seen?

I haven't been out this weekend. Yet Friday there was a rainstorm and I saw a Westinghouse Viscount at a auto shop, with a green coated MV bulb running since it was cloudy. I wished I had gotten a picture.

Collect vintage incandescent and fluorescent fixtures. Also like HID lighting and streetlights.

Hey guys I’m really new to this kind of stuff and want to get more into collecting street lights. So I was wondering where you find and collect all of your street lights. Thanks

I usually look up on eBay “vintage street light” and there’s tons of gems to pick from.

For the past week I've found some pretty cool things, 1 Westinghouse OV12 with original Ripley 5940 PC in York maine alone with a 400w MV M400 and a 175w M250R2. In laconia I found 2 VERY old incandescent radial waves being used as dock lights. And (not that you really want to know) I found out what color temperature those RSWs in Rye were, 3000k. A great week indeed.

Last week I saw a parking lot that had both Revere 2700s and M-1000s.

I’ve always been interested in all kinds of lighting, mainly incandescent and HID, and especially all kinds of sodium lamps (HPS/LPS). I’ll tolerate LED but I’m not a fan of it.
I’m not proud to say that my city has Devolved to LED.

Well today I had a baseball game that had multiple fields with Widelites! Some had 5 per pole and some had about 12! Must’ve been good luck since I won!

LOTS of Incandescents in Rockport MA! Some rare photocell extensions too! Some HPS OV50s and some EOLEDs to report. Also found out the color temperatures for some Boston area LEDs.

I will hopefully have a positive update on a LED I reported to Unitil.

Today I saw another Philips LED (don't remember the model) and Solarmax 3000K LED installed recently on the 60 freeway.

Also noticed a pole with a Leotek GC1 (I think) got knocked down and was replaced with a AEL Autobahn ATB0. Not sure of the color temperature but it might be 5000K like all the other ones they installed. The new pole stands out from the 1950s-1960s era poles it's around (that are not double guys - uncommon poles) as those are all nice and weathered.

Edit: Also saw another new Solarmax 3000K LED replacing a dead Leotek EC1.
