| For low power lights, I would prefer 2700K and for nightlights I would prefer 2700K if it is incandescent, or 2000K and lower if it is LED. I like very much high CRI 5000K. I had a Sylvania HSI-TD 70W/D, which made this color at 5600K. However its ceramic lampholders broke. And now I've an Osram HQI-TS 70W/D as well as Aliexpress 5000K lamps, which have lower CRI. The Sylvania had Dy-Tl-Cs, which produces high CRI, the Osram have Dy-In-Tl-Na and the Aliexpress have Na-Sc-Dy-Tl, both have lower CRI. I wish we have 5000K fluorescents and CFLs.
