Very interesting as it looks like they're taking CFL lamps and stuffing LEDs in them. I don't see how they would cool effectively, therefore I doubt that they would last very long. An intriguing take on a LED lamp nonetheless.

I'll pass on these-why make a LED look like an "ice cream swirl" CFL-and they have that hideous blue color.Drather have a warm color CFL!Or a more modern LED that DOESN'T look like a CFL.

These lamps are sold here in Israel as well:
1. CFL LED lamps at ACE, Big Center Kiryat Ata
2. CFL LED lamp at the marketplace of the old city of Acre

I saw some of them, they combine something about two worlds:
1) fragility of the glass
2) glare of the leds
