| Last night anyways . I replaced the failed 250w R-40 heat lamp in my little "Water Room" as I noticed it was 46°f in there one my way out for dinner. The thermostat doesn't let it get below 55°f . I got 2 years out of the previous lamp which was made by Xtra Life .

@wide-lite 1000 — ya need any? I have about 250 IR lamps from Philips-Westinghouse, 50 from GE (also with the silicone ShatterGuard coating), and 20 more from Sylvania. Let me know!

| Took out a GE MVR150/U/MED metal halide bulb that went kablooey inside. either at EOL or due to some other failure. The tube wasn't very black.. Put in a LU150/med temporarily until new MH bulb arrives.

| Scored a very rare cold temp magnetic HPF Trigger Start ballasted F15T12 fixture on Ebay earlier this morning around 12am, I believe. Bought it immediately, as soon as I saw it. It was the only one available though. The rest that I've found are LPF standard Rapid Start ballasted fixtures. I'm waiting for it in the mail, but will post it in my gallery once I receive it. I now own 7 cold temp HPF magnetic Trigger Start/Rapid Start ballasts.

Since I am in the lighting business I do lighting things almost everyday. Today’s task: - replacing a dead electronic driver for a CosmoWhite lamp. - preparing city’s Christmas lights for the storage - replacing a D4i controller on a street light.

| Received a NOS Universal 412-L-SLH-TC-P rapid start ballast that I ordered on eBay for a “rejuvenation” project involving a 1992 Lithonia Lighting single-lamp F40T12 strip light with a bad LPF ballast. I had used this fixture as my general F40T12 testing fixture back when I got it originally, but the ballast died after some time, I made the cord way too short as my cordmaking skills just were not very good back then, and I never put a switch on the fixture. I am going to be adding a longer cord with switch to the fixture as well as installing the new HPF Universal ballast.

| Relamped my PL-T 32w Lithonia fixture early in the evening; old lamp went Mercury-starved.
Reset the Intermatic wall timer (replaced the battery, reprogrammed) for our garage lights, and swapped out an EOL 16W Feit LED for an "Outdoor" variant of the Philips Marathon. With the frigid weather, the lamp was very hesitant to even start up.
Also turned the 70w OVZ back on, running it four hours a night now, at minimum. First startup since late fall at this point now...
