Bought up some US assembled Sylvania LED bulbs at a reduced price. Knowing the factory had closed.

Lit up the pair of brand new Philips F40T12 Neutral Deluxe lamps I got for 50c apiece. Works great.

The postman was a busy boy today, he brought a Thorn Leopard 28W 2D fitting, and a box of switches for building up lamp display boards. Plus several non lighting related items.  :)

And we have had two courier deliveries, one with our 180W SOX lamp, and the other was a package with a Philips L5090 BX 90W SOX ballast, and a Philips L5080BX ballast for 80W Mercury lamps  :)

We've cleaned up a couple of T12 tube connectors, so that we can run up our 140 SLI/H lamp.  8)

Ria checked that the SOX ignitor had enough oomph to get the 18W SOX lamp running on an 18W fluorescent ballast at 230V.  :)

It does, so we can build up a lamp board for our good friend Bubbler Tube.  8)

We got the 18W fluorescent ballast that I had ordered today, so we'll be able to build up another board for an 18W SOX lamp... :)

That is once we have bought more planks of wood.!  :D

The postman brought the five little neon indicator lamps that I bought on eBay, and there was a bonus lamp included, so I have six.  ;D

Next we will have to find some of the proper SCC holders so that we can light them.  :)

Plus we need to get the proper value of resistors so that they don't get POPPED  :D

The ballast that we needed for our 180W SOX lamp arrived today, so we will be able to get it lit.  :)

At a future date we will have a mass lighting of all the standard wattages right from 18 through to 180, which will be 503 watts and just short of 80,000 lumens.!! 8) 8) 8)

It's going to be BRIGHT.!!  :D

We have now got the lamp lit, pictures will follow later on...

Now where did I put my sunglasses.?  :D
