Not much today, just remade some connections on one of our lamp display boards.

Lowe's was clearing out their stock of GE F40T12BLB lamps for $1.98 each.
I bought the last case of them.

 I AM NOT !

My lighting project for today was installing my new mount for my Wide-lite. The new mount is MUCH STURDIER than the previous one plus, it's now centered with the roof line (the old pole was about 1 foot off-center). I also transferred the RAB Area Light JR from it's previous location on the wall to it's new location which is mounted directly to the 2" galvanized pipe of the new mount. Once I finish re-installing the siding and finish all the wiring, I'll post some photos .

Yesterday, I replaced the rear marker lights in my Subaru with Sylvania 2825 incandescents. These bulbs are made in Italy and are brighter versions of the 194 incandescents, so now my tail lights have a nice sparkle at night.

Currently running this US spec 100W MV lamp on an 80W ballast to see how it compares with the 70W HPS ballast we ran it on last time. Seems ok, lamp current and voltage aren't that far off  :mv: 8)
