Picked up some stuff from the San Jose Restore, nothing too interesting other than a Philips 100w US-made incandescent, another Feit 'Fire Starter' LED (my 3rd lamp of this type), and way too many fluorescent starters (roughly 2 dozen assorted Regent FS-22/FS-4/FS-5 starters plus a few generic FS-2B starters). On the other not exactly lighting-related hand, i also picked up a white P&S 4-Way? spec grade toggle switch.

I installed an awesome ceiling light fixture I just got from fellow member paintballer22. Great 80s style fixture looks made for where I put it. Thank you, my friend!

Nothing 'real', but did do some experiments with running F32/F40 fluorescents on incandescent as a ballast .lol.

I changed a lamp for my uncle. We also discussed future plans for some of the fluorescent lights in his house. He gave me a box of incandescents that I'll post later.

I'm mounting an instant assembling hight mast lighting post kit, for if you need lighting you can assamble the kit for an hour or less. For a cost of about 13 bucks each kit. I'll post the kit list.

We'll be carrying on with the tidying of our collection, we really need to get all the incandescents that don't have wrappers organised  :bulbman: :inc:

Put an incandescent in ;) :P

But I'm the one who doesn't pay for the bills so... Which means if I do install an incandescent, I will get a  :slap: from my parents.

Here in California, electricity is expensive so that's why I installed another LED.

If that's the case, put a halogen or a CFL, but CFLs looks ugly in some lamps.  ;D

There were CFLs in the light previously (light has covers so our eyes don't hurt from seeing the CFLs in there) but LED lamps were bought and installed in 2018.

Also halogen would be a big no as well. We still have one in use, but it's used rarely.

Sadly your only option are L*Ds. I'll reccomend to you FSL and Great vaule L*D bulbs, have a good quality, and a decent lifespan. I put many halogen bulbs two moths ago, and still not slap from parents.

L*Ds may look cheap to operate, but when the L*D effects starts to appear in you the doctor will not be cheap. A clear example is the effect of the excessive blue light in your eyes.

I'll be willing to bet it's not as expensive as it is here..! I do pay the bills here, and I still wouldn't touch L*D if I got the electricity for free
