So is 33°C considered hot on your side(s) of the pond? Because it was 43°C with 60% humidity here last week...

Yes 33°C is considered quite hot in the UK but fortunately the temperature rarely exceeds 30°C for more than perhaps 15 days a year. The humidity is often quite high however.
Very few homes have AC here as high temperatures are generally not much of an issue. Cold and rain is more typical of UK weather.
Today is a bit cooler at 29°C and 54% humidity.

I'm in one of the colder parts of Australia, so temperatures over 40°c are rare, though last summer had days of 38°c in the afternoons regularly. It's currently the end of winter here, and the lowest temperatures that I noticed were just below 0 in the mornings.

Nothing severe where I am, and infact there hasn't been any real storms at all this summer.
This summer has been a complete disappointment for its lack of thunderstorms. Just can't even get a good lightning-show.
Pretty much been drought here, even so-called "monsoon season" has been a dud.

------------------
Today had a high of 95 (mid 90's aren't uncommon here in summer).. and humidity at its lowest point was 9% (teens or single digits are normal here in the summer too).
So yeah it gets hot, but its not unbearable because of the low humidity.

@xmaslightguy – exact opposite for me here in the northeast. We had quite a thunderstorm yesterday- booming thunder, and cloud-to-ground lightning. Lots of it. Neighbor's tree got hit pretty hard, luckily it was raining by then, else it would've caught fire from the dry spell we've had these last two weeks or so.

@dor123, that video was interesting. Does Israel often see severe thunderstorms like what we get here in America?

@dor123, that sounds extreme. What is the wind speed?

Over here we've got somewhat gusty winds as well here in Ohio. Later this weekend, we're suppose to get a possible major snow storm,
as well as very frigid air... -2 degree temperature into next week. My vacation is going to be a longer vacation from work now unexpectedly, because
I know my job will likely close on Saturday, probably until Monday. (6 to 10 inches of snow expected for my area. Off topic: I've already got Monday
and Tuesday off,... then vacation Wednesday and Thursday, off work again next weekend. Due to this snow storm I'll probably be off work for 9 days
in a row, decreasing my paycheck significantly. Not cool man. Not cool. :( )

@Eleco_SR304, is it cold over there? Honestly I'd rather be over there than here as of now. I hate winter with a thriving passion.

We had a cold front come last weekend. The wind picked up terribly on Sunday afternoon. It was so bad it was like an hurricane! By evening the temperature dropped quickly. It got from 80 to 49 F in a few hours. That night it dropped to 38 by morning.

It’s warmed up over the week back to 80s this week and to be up to 88 by Sunday! Then cold front coming again next week and back to lows in the 30s by next week! Then warm back up and down to be cold by next weekend! It’s like a roller coaster hot to cold here the last few weeks and weeks to come.

@Cole D, you lucky, lucky, lucky man.
Up here, we're looking at lows in the negatives, actual air temperature. So wind chill will probably be above -20 degrees.
