Tried to fix my laptop with a busted screen, the new one just didn’t want to light!  Gonna have to fiddle with it at some point tommorow. Also if anyone find a the idiot who decided to secure the screen with adhesive and not screws let me know. @jamie: Well hey, you only live once, gotta hang out around UHV some time or another.

Went out driving alone for the first time today, dropped of some letters, got some candy, and then got lost slightly at an exit I had never seen before but lead to my house. Took a little while but I'm home safe. Anyways tomorrow I'm upping the distance slightly by partially driving 350 miles to my grandma's house. @Ria: The right side of the road is in the name, it's called the right side for a reason you know.

Drove to My Grandma's house, once I met her halfway I got to drive her car the rest of the way there. May or may not have had to quickly pass a semi on 2 lane blacktop going 100mph... Got some good experience learning how to pass in tough conditions like that, which is good. Also stopped in Larned to take better pictures of a transformer bank that's really old.

Replaced every outlet and switch in my grandma's kitchen with new ones, added GFCI protection to them. The really weird thing is that the kitchen is on 4 separate breakers for the outlets, I have the specifically marked in the panel for that reason. Took about 5 hours to do, I also had to run to the hard ware store to get stuff in the middle of it all.
